Hi. I’m a mom. Just a mom. My name is Wendy. I sit at home and watch the news and yell at the television and make everyone around me completely crazy. I’m a disenfranchised-feeling mom whose letters to her representatives are not getting her anywhere, and whose rage at the government machine is making her own blood pressure dangerously high.

What

I named this blog Libertiquette so that it would be all cutesy with the name of my other blog. And because the domain name I really wanted was already taken. But it’s growing on me: the main source of my discontent is the fact that my government is hell bent on taking away as many of my personal liberties as possible.

Where

I live in Houston, Texas. Sometimes I blog about Texas politics, too. Especially when my lawmakers make me crazy, which is happening more & more often. Unfortunately.

When

I can’t think of anything appropriate to put under here. When? I guess the time is now. Are politics freaking you out? Consider becoming a contributor here. Or leave some comments. I welcome friendly debate and vehement disagreement. You might change my mind; I might change yours; we might just have to agree to disagree. At the very least, we’ll get it out of our system before we find ourselves at Capitol Hill with a bullhorn and a firearm, demanding answers.
