So apparently President Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace prize today. Which he was nominated for after being in office for less than two weeks.
Every conservative-type blogger in the world is going to be ALL over this, so it’s unnecessary for me to rehash what every rational person on the planet is thinking right now.
However, I will insert a graphic which demonstrates how I would react if you told me the Nobel Committee had any integrity whatsoever.
I’m disappointed that our president accepted such an insanely ridiculous award. But hey – who turns down $1.2 million just for the sake of integrity? Apparently President Obama wouldn’t. Maybe my faith will be somewhat restored if he donates the money to a good cause.
But not really. Because he should have said, “I’ll accept this prize when I have accomplished something – anything at all – towards the promotion of peace.”
Like that would happen. LOL
